First and foremost, you need to decide on the location of the land. Perhaps near where your future in laws are used to stay. Secondly, have a discussion with an architect to work out the estimated costs and design for your house based on the land size and shape. Once that is confirmed you may hire the architect to tender out the contractors work and be your project manager. The architect can advise you on the timeline to get approval and complete the house with CCC.
