Hello Mrs Ng,

1. We are a professional practice and governed by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers & Estate Agents, Malaysia under the Ministry of Finance. There is standard guideline on how we are allowed to charge our professional fee. Please browse the link from my website www.quantumrealestate.com.my
You can also check the names of licensed agents and registered negotiators in the government website too.
2. In summary, we are allowed to charge up to 3% of the transacted price to be negotiated with the client. There will be a Government Service Tax of 6% on the fee. The average in the market is 2%.
3. Most often it is not so much of the 1% difference in fee. It is whether the agent or negotiator has integrity, reliable and knowledgeable in the property transaction and protect the interest of the client.

Please email me at davidwong@quantumrealestate.com.my to provide details of your property so that we can assist you further.

Thank you.
