Hi i have asked the same question before but this is an extension to my original question. Is the 1%real estate agent's commission payable upon getting the spa stamped after signed by vendor and buyer or before stamped but after buyer and vendor signs it since all the stamping offices are closed until april.. Thanks in advance

The Malaysian Estate Agency Standard 7 states that unless it is stated in the agreement between the estate agency and the principal (client), the fees are generally due upon the creation of a binding contract between the parties to the estate agency transaction. There is no mention of the agreement need to be stamped. Only whether the agreement is conditional or unconditional.
