Hi, I have paid the booking fee to the developer and submitted the loan application to the bank. Initially our deal is to try apply the loan under my name, and if the loan being rejected then only we apply it under joint name with my spouse. However, we just found out some issue of the property and not willing to purchase it anymore. Since the bank can only offer 80% of loan instead of 90%, and I am not keen to appeal under joint name, can I reject it and get back the booking fee?
