Hi there. I have a few questions regarding tenancy agreement renewal.
My current tenancy is ending in December, and I have informed the landlord that I’m keen to renew for another year.
In current agreement, there’s 1+1 option. My questions are:
1) Do we still need to sign a new contract and pay all the necessary fees to the agent (stamping, admission etc)?
2) Can the landlord increase the rental when we want to renew contract?
3) What does 1+1 really mean? Are all the terms agreed on the current contract will remain the same for the renewal?
Thanks in advance.
