Hi,i am buying a leasehold property which after signing the agreement i was told the title of the house went missing.
The whole proccess of getting back the title and trf name took more than 9 months already.
Now i have to rent fron the seller.
Please advice me until when should i pay rental and under thus situation what is my right?
Can i get compensate as this is not at all my mistake?

There is usually a cut off date mentioned in the SPA for the consent to transfer (being a leasehold property) to be obtained failing which the buyer has the liberty to terminate the SPA and get a full refund of the 10% deposit from the Vendor.
