I agreed to rent a property in Johor. Now the agent is asking for agent professional fee from me, the potential renter/tenant. There was no mention of any fee from me when I expressed my interest in renting the property shown by this agent.
Is this acceptable/allowed practice anywhere in Malaysia and specifically in Johor!
