Good day. Unfortunately you are unable to purchase at majority of the states in Malaysia even by obtaining MM2H for yourself. If there arent any changes yes, there is only 1 state in Sarawak that you can purchase with MM2H Allen Yeoh IQI 016-4323442

For your information, foreigners are only allowed to buy residential properties in Kuala Lumpur above RM1 million value, in Selangor generally above RM2million while in some other states and certain projects the minimum could be above RM500,000. Getting a property loan in Malaysia is not a problem provided you are eligible for the amount of loan base on your current income and other loans commitments.
