I am Malaysian and going to marry a Singaporean guy, I want to buy a property in Malaysia but my future husband said if you own a property in Malaysia you cannot own a property in Singapore. Is that true?

If you intend to buy a HDB flat in Singapore, you will need to show proof that you do not own any properties including in other countries. Buying private homes in Singapore excluded. To be entitled to purchase a HDB flat you need to be a PR or Singapore citizen. Read More
