Our tenancy agreements renting to expatriates usually includes an expatriate or diplomatic clause whereby the expatriate is allowed to terminate the tenancy by giving 2 months notice if they are unable to renew their permit. This is only applicable after 1 year of tenancy. So it depends on the terms stated in your Tenancy Agreement.
