Im a Non-bumi who is in search of a home near by kota damansara and subang bistari.
I came a cross some houses which were up for sale in these locations. When we contacted the Agents to inquire on this properties, i was told it was a bumi-property.

I would like to know, if i( A Non-Bumi) in any chance eligble to buy this property? If so are there any risk associated with purchase of this property in the future?

Kindly assist on this thanks you

There are many cases of bumiputra quota houses not been able to transfer to non-bumiputra although some agents may claim otherwise. The consent to transfer will also take a longer time, if it's possible.
Why get into an uncertainty especially when you have to pay a downpayment when you can purchase non-bumiputra designated units in the areas that you are looking for. Read More
