It depends whether the agency has the turnover of RM500k and above threshold and registered with Custom to collect SST. If yes, the SST currently at 6% is charged on the agency fee of 2% to 3%

    If the agency is registered with Custom to collect SST on behalf then any fee (excluding the actual stamping fee) that is charged by the agency is subject to SST. However, if doing the the tenancy agreement and stamping it is termed as a disbursement then it is not subject to SST as it is just reimbursement of expenses incurred.
