My S&P stated that defect liability period is 24 months from VP. But Deed of Mutual Covenant stated that the liability period effectively end whenever buyer starts ANY renovation before expiry of 24 months defects liability period . Most buyers will do some kind of renovation, so it seems like developer found a clever way to get away from this 24 months defects liability supposedly protect buyer's interest. any developer or lawyer care to elaborate further on this ? thanks
