Purchased a condo unit with my girlfriend (joint-name) on late 2017. The project is still under construction and is expected to be ready on 2021. Currently we are serving monthly interest. Is it possible if we want to sell our condo at this stage? Any penalty imposed? Looking forward to all the kind gurus’ advise. Thks.

You need to check with the developer whether they will consent to a transfer at this stage of construction. If yes, you need to know what is the consent fee usually stated in the SPA as 1% or a fixed sum at RM500. If your loan has a lock in period you need to pay early settlement fee to the bank as stated in the offer letter or loan agreement.
