Yes it will definitely enhance the value of your house compared to a basic house. Other factors like specific location, condition economic situation etc will also influence the pricing. What is subjective is that how much will a buyer pay extra for the renovation costs put in by you 4 years ago. Sometimes 50% of the costs is used. The check and balance is to also compare with other renovated houses for sale in your locality. Extension/renovation will for sure increase the values of your property.The extent of how much it will increase the value will depend on various factor like the design,number of year it has been renovated and the quality of material used.It is very subjective but base on the infor u provided, 60% of the cost is genarally accepted.
