With the newly Announcement of HOC 2020, how this will impact my recent purchase of a residential unit?
The SPA has prepared but not fully signed yet. My 2 sisters has signed and pending myself. 3 of us going to buy this house together and hence the SAP has 3 purchasers.
Questions:
1. Are we still entitled for the stamp duty exemption and minimum 10% discount? My sisters signed the SAP on 28 May and pending my signature.
2. We were offered discount of $28,800. In theory, the developer should offer 10% plus additional $28,800 agreed previously?
3. How this HOC scheme will now impact the valuation fee?

I don't think the developer is willing to change the price and the date of the SPA etc and wait for the new HOC to be launched. Anyway, projects need to be approved under HOC before enjoying the benefits. You may try to talk to the developer and try your luck.
