D’Aman Crimson is a development located in Jalan PJU, off Jalan Lembah Subang, in Petaling Jaya. This project was developed by Crimson Land, which also developed D’Aman Ria Apartment.

The development of this project was completed in the 2001, and it contains several facilities and features that serve its many residents.

One of the more unique facilities is the library, where residents can get some reading done in the facility, while children can have their playtime at the children’s playground within the development. So, there’s a little something for everyone.

D’Aman Crimson is located close to an LRT station in Ara Damansara, the NZX commercial centre and AraGreens by HSB Development Sdn Bhd. Residents will have many choice conveniences, as there are good facilities in the vicinity such as malls, hypermarkets, hospitals and schools. It is also well connected to other townships such as Tropicana, Bandar Utama, Subang Jaya, and Kelana Jaya.

The condominium has a blog, but the last update was in April 2020, a few weeks into Malaysia’s Movement Control Order (MCO).

Location

D’Aman Crimson is a high-rise, high-density condominium located in the enclave of Ara Damansara, Selangor. The development is easily accessible via Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), and the Federal Highway.

Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang is one of the more popular access roads into Ara Damansara. This road will connect residents to the Subang Airport, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), and the Federal Highway.

Analysis

One of the negatives of living at D’Aman Crimson that is repeatedly pointed out is the traffic congestion during peak hours, especially when one heads towards Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) via the 2-lane tunnel which is shared by the residents in the vicinity.

In 2013, residents of D’Aman Crimson condominium voiced out their fears over railings connecting the 4 residential blocks to the central playground and the swimming pool area.

They were concerned that children would slip through the gap between the railings. The residents had complained to the D’Aman Crimson Joint Management Body (JMB) then but was told this was not an urgent matter to be looked into.

Those interested in purchasing an 845 sq ft unit for investment could get about 4.45% per annum. This is based on listings in PropertyGuru in February 2021, which shows that the asking monthly rental for 845 sq ft units are from RM1,200 to RM1,500, while purchase prices are asking from RM328,000 to RM403,000.
