Pantai Hillpark is located near the residential enclaves of Bangsar South and Bukit Pantai. This hilltop residence is considered as one of the great successes of property development in the Klang Valley.
Living among the greens? The idea itself is tantalising and it seems to be too good to be true when it comes to living in Kuala Lumpur, which is often polluted and congested. But Irama Wangsa proves cynics wrong as it is capable in providing a Robinson Crusoe’s gateway from the city madness. With its lush green and misty ambiance, this is a perfect escapism for many who seek for tranquility!

Project Details
For city folks, there is always that urge to go back to nature. Living within concrete buildings and the madness of the city lifestyle, space and green scenery are the yearnings that might drive people to take up a unit at Irama Wangsa.
Built on a 9-acre hill top of Jalan 26/24, Seksyen 10, Irama Wangsa might give that escapism to homeseekers. The condominium is tucked hidden among the greens and perhaps unnoticeable if you don’t drive up along the roads of Jalan 26/24.
Its marketing team describes Irama Wangsa as ‘a hill park sanctuary with a forest caters to the needs of scenic view’. What a mantra! There is where the developer is cashing in on their condominium!
There are three blocks located surrounding an array of amenities at this development. Blocks A and B are in the midst of construction and currently at level 6. Both blocks are still open for booking. Block A is located closely to the entrance while Block B is built right in the middle of the property.
Units located at Block C are still closed for bookings and the block itself has not been constructed. It will only be built next year. It is the most expensive and prestigious tower among the proposed three towers as its location will be facing a reserved land that soon will be converted into a private hill park.
The views can get really breath-taking given where the units are located. Best tip to consider; do purchase units facing the amenities such as the pool because there would be a glimpse of KLCC and hopefully the infrastructure of the amenities would be impeccable in its execution.
There are also units that are facing an empty land. Do bear in mind; developments here are rapidly growing all over. There is a possibility of another development on its way. And do avoid units facing other existing apartments. It can get a bit distracting despite its cheaper price tag.
Units at 991 sq.ft. are entitled for one parking space meanwhile units above 1000 sq.ft. will receive two car-parks.
There are seven type of designs and sizes. But only Type A, B, C and D are up for grabs at the current moment. The smallest units are Type As, sized at 991 sq.ft. With two bedrooms and a study room, as predicted these units were the first to go. All Type As are located at Block B facing Quartz Melawati at the East side of the condominium.
Purchasing slightly bigger units at either both blocks is still considered as a good catch. Type B, C, D and E are worth the purchase given the fact that Irama Wangsa is extremely generous with space and rooms. These units are still available. It is just a matter of one’s budget and view preferences.
Type D provides three bedrooms with an additional study area at 1, 335 sq.ft. Most condominiums in the heart of Kuala Lumpur won’t be able to provide such space. With an extra utility and study rooms, they can be smartly converted into a maid’s room and a guest room.
The bedrooms are big and spacious; this is a great deal for those with an entourage of children. Despite gracious in rooms, the unit isn’t gracious with its baths. There are only two baths that include the one in the master bedroom. The second bath would be the common bath for tenants and guests. It is indeed a downside despite massive space allocated for the other areas. Meanwhile, its living and dining area are spacious and please be free to utilise them with big and bulky furniture. The folks at Beneton are providing kitchen tops made from granite as well as a hob and hood for all units. There aren’t many freebies given out due to the fact that these units here are quite affordable and considered cheap in comparison to other developments within the area.
Then there’s the exclusive Type G, the biggest and widest of them all. Ironically, this unit is not available for booking at the moment.
Type G’s living area is indeed spacious. At 1, 637 sq.ft., it has three bedrooms with a study room. The units are pretty much gracious with baths as there are three baths. The smallest bath is considered as a powder room for guests. Balconies are indeed the X Factor for these units. Both living area and master bedroom have extended balconies for the residents to enjoy the great view of the greens from the private hill park. Remember, these units are located at Block C and units here are deemed as elite and prestigious. Hopefully, the waiting is worth it.
Location
Wangsa Maju is a booming residential area as countless of developers are pitching to build high-rise condominiums that aim to offer better and comfortable style of living within Kuala Lumpur. The district started out as housing area that was heavily surrounded by greeneries and jungles back way back in the 1980s.
But Wangsa Maju slowly evolved as a destination for families seeking for landed properties with ample of space and amenities. An increase of mid income families flocking here is evident due to its affordable housing projects and low cost flats. With its potential prospects, it is no wonder why Wangsa Maju is welcoming the rich folks who are seeking for high-end properties in this friendly neighbourhood.
Wangsa Maju is extremely accessible to commuters via land or rail. It can be reached by Jalan Genting Kelang, MRR2, AKLEH and even DUKE highway. There is even a connected route to Jalan Ampang via Jalan Jelatek and Jalan Setiawangsa. Thus, there are no qualms when it comes to accessibility.
Even the LRT system is at its best. Wangsa Maju is well connected to four LRT stations that include Wangsa Maju Station, Sri Rampai Station, Jelatek Station and Taman Melati Station. The Rapid buses are now getting efficient in comparison to a decade ago. The regularity of these buses has been increased to very half an hour and the number of bus stations have rose as well to cater to the demands of new residential areas.
As for amenities, Wangsa Maju has a wealth of them especially when it comes to education. Schools are abundance, from Sekolah Kebangsaan to international and private schools.
Among government schools located in the area are Sekolah Kebangsaan Wangsa Maju Zon R10, Sekolah Kebangsaan Wangsa Maju Seksyen 1, Sekolah Kebangsaan Wangsa Maju Seksyen 5, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Zon R1 Wangsa Maju, SMK Taman Seri Rampai and the list goes on. There are also a few popular international schools nearby that include the newly constructed Fairview International School (a reminder to parents that the school has moved to Seksyen 6 Wangsa Maju), Sri Utama School of Wangsa Maju as well as Libyan International School and Sayfol International School that are located along Jalan Ampang
Meanwhile, parents to preschoolers would be happy to know that kindergartens and Montessori are mushrooming within the area. It gives parents ample of options ranging from affordable to pretty expensive preschools. Fun Station Sri Rampai, Smart Readers Wangsa Maju, Kumon, Bondamama Kids Centre, Junior Creative Mind Montessori and Tadika Tahfiz Al-Munir are among those located within the area.
Universities are also within a driving distance from here. International Islamic University Malaysia, University Tunku Abdul Rahman and University Teknologi Malaysia (Semarak Campus) are the closest to Wangsa Maju. Parents with budding young adults would might want to consider sending them to these universities. They are extremely close by and parents could definitely keep an eye on their kids!
Take a drive onto AKLEH and Jalan Ampang and you will end up at popular shopping complexes that include Suria KLCC, Avenue K, Pavillion and Great Eastern. But for quick commute, there are ample smaller scaled malls around such as Wangsa Walk, Alpha Angle and AEON AU. They are definitely good enough for grocery shopping and movie dates.
Hospitals and clinics are a drive away. Prince Court Medical Centre, Gleneagles Hospital, Ampang Puteri Specialist and Tawakkal Hospital are among the closest medical amenities around Wangsa Maju.
It can be a blessing in disguise as the area is not heavily populated with office buildings or towers. It is a flourishing residential district. Most of the land titles here are residential, not commercial. Thus, working folks might have to commute a bit more to their offices. They would have to leave the area at early mornings in order to avoid any bottleneck jams in the city center.
Given the background of the area, Wangsa Maju has a lot of low to mid cost apartments. Sri Jelatek, Rampai Court Apartment, Lojing Heights 1, Pangsa Murni and Villa Danau Apartment are the less glamorous properties nearby and some will be neighbouring Irama Wangsa. It can get visible at the site itself especially if you are located at the lower levels of the condominium. Try to get higher units in order to avoid looking directly into someone else’s living space.

Summary
This is a good place to settle in and start or adding family members! When we talk about growing up in a family oriented neighbourhood, Irama Wangsa has indeed hit the jackpot with its location. It is such a family friendly area; schools, family malls, parks and the absence of office towers makes Irama Wangsa more appealing. This is among those family neighborhoods that would stand the test of time. Ensuring a great childhood, secured upbringing and a place to call home. That’s Wangsa Maju for you!
