Despite facing some hold-ups during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, Cyberjaya is now thriving rapidly as an international hub for various sectors. It is also expanding its role as a destination for affordable residential townships. The population here is set to increase from 83, 000 people to 100,000 people by the end of 2016. Thus, residential properties are definitely in demand and crucial in catering to the upsurge of the population around Cyberjaya.

The proposed MRT Line 2 of Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya is estimated 52.2 km long as 13.5 km will be built underground. There will be 36 stations, which include several stations located closely or within Cyberjaya. These stations comprise of S23 Taman Putra Permai, S33 16 Sierra, S34 Cyber North, S35 Cyberjaya City Centre and S36 Putrajaya Sentral. The line will take folks from Cyberjaya to places such as Bandar Malaysia North, Bandar Malaysia South, Serdang, TRX, Jalan Conlay, KLCC, Titiwangsa, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Kepong, Sri Damansara and right up to Sungai Buloh.

The SSP line will also have connectivity with the existing KTM Komuter (three stations), LRT Ampang Line (three stations), LRT Kelana Jaya Line (one station), KL Monorail (one station), KLIA Transit (one station) and MRT Line (two stations). Such great connectivity is guaranteed as people will be able to travel effortlessly. The SSP Line is expected to reach 529, 000 commuters a day once it is fully operating in 2022.

For the time being, folks around the area can opt for Dedicated Transportation System (DTS), taxis and the ERL.

Among them are GEM IN Mall, Shaftsbury Square, DePulze and countless of shop rows around Cyberjaya. They are smaller in sizes in comparison to the wealth of malls in both Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley. But bear in mind that the area is still new and has been thriving tremendously over the past decade.

The Developer

MCT Consortium was founded by Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Goh Ming Choon and Dato’ Sri Tong Seech Wi. The company began operations in 1999 as Modular Construction Technology Sdn Bhd, a builder specialising in undertaking construction, civil engineering and mechanical and electrical works through the modular construction technique.

MCT Consortium subsequently ventured into property development in 2004 with the development of USJ One Avenue, a 448-unit condominium project. MCT Consortium commenced its operations (via Modular Construction Technology Sdn Bhd) in 1999 with a paid-up capital of only RM250, 000.00, and its revised net asset value has since increased tremendously to RM1.33billion currently.

MCT Consortium is today an integrated property developer supported by in-house capabilities including development planning, architectural and engineering design, quantity surveying and procurement, interior design, project management and construction. It has successfully completed projects with a total GDV of RM1, 080 million to-date, and is currently developing on-going projects with a total GDV of RM2, 264 million. Away from the hustling and bustling of a city lifestyle, the development is keen in making residents feel the comfort and warmth of a home by providing ample of space and rooms. For those with a burgeoning family, the size of the villas here would definitely suffice. Given some common areas that can be utilised or converted into rooms, homeowners wouldn’t need to worry as the rooms here are able to accommodate existing family members along with visiting friends and families from afar.

The convenience of Cyberjaya has been proven solid. The best educational institutions are located nearby and even offices are a quick commute away. There isn’t any need to fuss about the distance as we know that Cyberjaya isn’t exactly Kuala Lumpur’s closest neighbour. Nevertheless, the great road network has time and time again proves its efficiency. Besides that, the MRT Line 2 SSP’s construction is approaching extremely soon. With impeccable rail network and great connecting routes, it is viable to live in Cyberjaya while working in Kuala Lumpur or any part of Klang Valley for that matter.
