Floor Plans and Specifications
For the moment, there is no showroom for Muse by the Sky as the current one is being refurbished to display a different setting in a new unit Type. However, the floorplans of 7 different kinds are available and will indicate the views and orientation and on which tower they will be in. The choices of floorplans is to cater to the differing needs of the family and each one is quite unique.
You will notice that apart from all the interesting configurations presented, every unit is either a Semi-D or Bungalow in the Muse by the Sky.
Muse by the Sky is located at the furthest end of the Bukit Jalil Highway, about 750m or 1 minute from where the road joins the LDP at the Puchong end of its run.
The condominium is on a hill overlooking the Bukit Jalil Highway but the address is Puchong Jaya as it falls within the boundaries of Puchong Jaya. (See map below)
Puchong Jaya or Bandar Puchong Jaya when referred to by its full name, is one of the largest if not the largest “bandar” or townships in Puchong ̶ itself, a major 51.71sq km* amalgamation of Bandar Puchong Jaya and at least 45 other similar bandars in the Petaling district of Selangor.

Yes, Puchong is enormous. It is so big it needs, according to Wikipedia, the governance of three separate local authorities, whose jurisdictions are:
- Kuala Lumpur City Hall (Bandaraya)─ 5th to 7th mile Puchong
- Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) ̶ Kinrara to 16th mile Puchong
- Sepang Municipal Council (MPSp) ̶ Bukit Puchong 2, 16 Sierra, Pulau Meranti and Taman Mas
How Puchong Got Its Name
But it was not always this big and busy. Back at the turn of the 20th century, Puchong used to be an Orang Asli fishing village. The early settlement probably got its name from the flocks of Burung Puchong (heron) that used to proliferate the wetlands there. The birds were so plentiful, they became the staple diet of the Orang Asli community and thus had their name commemorated for the settlement they gave sustenance to from those days.
Through the years, with the influx of migrants, the fishing village gave way to rubber estates and tin-mining “Kongsi” (so-called “companies” or working units) where the miners lived where they worked.
Up until the 1980s, Puchong consisted of only one two-lane road running through these estates and villages. With rapid urbanization, industrial zones, commercial belts and residential neighbourhoods mushroomed along Jalan Puchong ─ the main road ̶ which grew and grew until it reached its present day proportions. Of course, by this time, tin mining and rubber tapping were phased out too but Puchong continued flourishing. Today, according to a Selangor Times report in 2012, Puchong’s population is fast approaching 400,000.
Bandar Puchong Jaya
Bandar Puchong Jaya, located between Bandar Sunway and Bandar Kinrara, is a self-contained satellite hub of about 1,000 acres large. The township is “related” to Muse by the Sky in that it was built by the same developer ─ IOI Properties, back in May, 1990. Today, Puchong Jaya is a hugely successful urban centre with many iconic IOI landmarks and a population of over 40,000. And the growing hasn’t stopped.
The famous shopping and recreation centrepiece IOI Mall with AEON Jusco commenced operations in 1996. (It too, grew into its present-day size with the addition of a new wing in 2009). In the same year, IOI Boulevard was launched (opposite IOI Mall) while the Puchong Financial Corporate Centre (PFCC) in Bandar Puteri Puchong further down (also a IOI Properties development) was launched. Tower 2 of the PFCC obtained MSC Malaysia Cybercentre status in 2012.
Jalan Kenari is Full of Banks
Notable in the area opposite IOI Mall and around IOI Boulevard (on Jalan Kenari 5), are almost all of Malaysia’s banks located from Jalan Kenari 1 to Jalan Kenari 11. The banks range from UOB to Hong Leong (see Intro Section) including Bank Simpanan Nasional and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Further down towards Bandar Puteri Puchong on Persiaran Wawasan is Bank Islam.

There are many routes that will lead you to Muse by the Sky, Puchong Jaya. Off hand, the six major ones you can use are: The Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), The KL-Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS),ELITE Highway, SKVE highway, Jalan Puchong itself and the Bukit Jalil Highway.
Of the six routes, we shall use the one along the Bukit Jalil Highway since Muse by the Sky is situated on the hilltop directly above the Bukit Jalil Highway, on the left side of the road heading towards Puchong.

There are many promising aspects going for Muse by the Sky. Chief among its USPs is its brand name of course.
