Nova Saujana is a low density mixed development of retail and service residences in the Saujana area in Shah Alam. Launched in 2012, the 3.2-acre freehold development by Malton Bhd was completed in 2016.
Partly facing Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang and Ara Damansara, and partly facing inwards in the direction of the Saujana greens, Nova Saujana comprises 2 blocks of service residences that are separated by the recreational deck on the 5th floor which has an infinity pool, sauna, children’s pool and play area, tennis courts, barbeque area, and yoga pavilion.
Each block has its own entrance lobby and 11 levels of residences. There are 4 design layouts, with built-ups ranging from 855 sq ft to 1,419 sq ft. Typically, each block has 18 units per floor, with 12 of the smallest size units (Type B) and 2 units each of the other 3 unique layout designs.
The 890 sq ft Type A units are detached or stand-alone units at the ends of the blocks, while the largest Type D units are the only designs with balconies.

Location
Nova Saujana is located off Persiaran Golf, the main access road in the Saujana area that runs parallel to Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang. Heading in the direction of the old Subang Airport, Nova Saujana is visible from Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang.
It is sandwiched between the Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur and Dataran PHB, the office park previously known as Peremba Square. It is also just behind its sister development, Amaya Saujana. The Saujana area is a serene enclave largely occupied by Saujana Golf & Country Club, low-density condominiums, and bungalow lots.
Nova Saujana’s location is strategic and has good accessibility. It is close to the well-developed township of Ara Damansara on the opposite side of Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang where there are hypermarkets, malls, public amenities, and eateries. Plus, the Ramsay Sime Darby Medical Centre is just 2km away.
It is also well connected to other mature townships such as Kelana Jaya, Subang Jaya, and Glenmarie, and has good access to other parts of the Klang Valley via major highways such as the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), and the New Pantai Expressway (NPE).
Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang is one of the more popular access roads to Nova Saujana as it connects to the Subang Airport, Sungai Buloh area, and the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).
The Ara Damansara LRT Station on the Kelana Jaya line is a 2km drive from Nova Saujana, and it heads towards Petaling Jaya, KL Sentral, and Kuala Lumpur city centre (KLCC) in one direction, and towards Subang Jaya, USJ, Putra Heights and Puchong in the other direction.

Analysis
While the other side of Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang is bustling and busy with many high density developments and commercial buildings, Saujana is a tranquil quarter. Largely occupied by Saujana Golf and Country Club, it has fewer developments and are mostly lower density, and surrounded by lots of natural greenery.
No doubt, there are fewer amenities, but Ara Damansara as well as other townships in Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam, are easily accessible to residents in the Saujana area. Nova Saujana itself is host to some good eateries and convenience stores.
On the other hand, sharing the same popular access as Ara Damansara via Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang means that there is traffic congestion, especially during peak hours. The said road is also prone to flooding and exceptional congestion due to the volume of infrastructural developments in the area.
Units at Nova Saujana that face this busy roadway will also be subject to some traffic noise, which may be a put-off to some. However, these units get to enjoy the view of Ara Damansara and Petaling Jaya. Quite unfortunately, the south-facing units will not get to fully enjoy the stunning view of the Saujana greens as it is being obstructed by its sister development, Amaya Saujana.
