While highlighting the futuristic appeal of a modern marvel, Picasso Residence isn’t forgetting the need of nature and bringing balance to the environment.  The development will be covered with 30 to 35% of greens. Something that the development tries to encapsulates given a large land of greens standing tall behind the proposed location.

Besides that, there will be 60% of water features around the vicinity that aims to stimulate calmness and tranquillity.

The 11-feet high ceiling is something to look out for (Source http://picassoresidence.com.my/?menu=gallery)

The amazing structural design continues with a ground breaking 11- feet high ceiling that will be welcoming the residents and guests at its double volume lobby area.

Its facilities are simply stunning and illuminates the thought that was carefully planned into the structure. Right up high at the Sky Level, residents will be captivated by Kuala Lumpur’s majestic skylines. The residence is fortunate not to be surrounded by other high-rise developments within close proximity as there will not be any obstructions to the view. The Sky Park, Sky Garden and the Sky Pavilion are the facilities that will be providing such spectacular views.

The entrance to Jalan Jelatek

The proposed location is located along Jalan Jelatek, which is currently under massive construction due to the works on an elevated intersection. Nonetheless, given the completion date of Picasso Residence, such hectic works can be avoided as it is expected to end in 2017. The intersection is made to mitigate traffic as well as to give more options to those commuting along Jalan Jelatek and Jalan Ampang. The rush hour here can get a bit hectic and you can get stuck in a jam for quite a while. Hopefully, this could fend off such tailbacks.

Entry and exit points to AKLEH and DUKE are located within the vicinity. Residents can find the entry point of Plaza Tol Dato Keramat along Jalan Jelatek prior entering AKLEH. That would be on the opposite side of Picasso Residence.

For those heading to DUKE, residents can take Jalan Datuk Keramat and head on towards Jalan Maktab. The entrance is right beside PULAPOL.  Meanwhile, MRR2 is accessible via Jalan Ampang.  Residents will also be able to reach Wangsa Maju, Taman Melawati and Setiawangsa by driving along Jalan jelatek.

Another option will be Datuk Keramat LRT Station that is located along Jalan Datuk Keramat. It is within minutes away from Picasso Residence by driving or even by walking.

Taxis and RapidKL buses are extremely efficient in this given area. Hailing a taxi shouldn’t be much of an issue. Meanwhile, the closest RapidKL’s bus hub is located at Datuk Keramat LRT Station.

Dataran Jelatek is just minutes away from Picasso Residence

  • Pasar Datuk Keramat– If you are not into the high-end supermarkets, there is always the good old ‘pasar basah’ or wet market that is located at Datuk Keramat. It is five minutes via driving and the entrance of Datuk Keramat is just around the corner from Picasso Residence. There is an array of selection from poultries to herbs and spices to choose from. The price here is pretty reasonable and there’s no question to be asked when it comes to the freshness of the produce!
  • Pasaraya Hock Choon– This rather modest looking supermarket has been around for decades and it is among the oldest grocery stores in Kuala Lumpur. It has all the basic necessities as well as imported goods from far and wide. It might look rundown but the items that are sold here are imported and rare. Their shoppers consist of loyal customers since its opening to the new age generation
  • Dataran Jelatek– Take a drive up Jalan Jelatek, you will find Dataran Jelatek. If you are into Middle Eastern food, lucky you! There are ample Middle Eastern restaurants here along with its famous Shisha. There’s a 99 Speedmart along with a music center and couple of other restaurants of various cuisines.
  • Ampang Point– Drive along Jalan Ampang and you will find yourself entering a rather congested area hailed as Ampang Point. Upon entering the area, you will see endless of shops and restaurants. Most popular cuisines here are the Middle Eastern and Korean. There are specialised grocery shops with imported goods from, you’d guess it, Korea and the Middle East. Besides that, Ampang Point, the mall, is a moderate scale mall that offers basics necessities such as groceries, food outlets and coffee cafes.
  • Lorong Nibong’s little secrets– People often overlook this little alley as it is tucked in between buildings along Jalan Ampang. Its secluded location might make it hard for people to find it. Lorong Nibong surprisingly hosts a number of fine dining restaurants and even a Pilates studio. Among the hidden gems of Lorong Nibong are:
  • Victoria Station- Among the legendary steak houses in Kuala Lumpur. This particular branch even has a life sized train model in it.
  • Sahara Tent- Another famous Arab chain restaurant finding regular customers along Lorong Nibong. Humongous and surprisingly less crowded.
  • Terrace at Hock Choon- The ‘Terrace’ hosts a string of fine dining restaurants and bars. This includes IL Divo, Fukuharu, Berliner Stube, IR1968, Poolside Bar, Single Malt Lounge, the Café and the Cigar Bar.
  • Discovery Pilates Studio– To escape the hectic city lifestyle, health enthusiasts could just head down to the studio for some Pilates sessions. What makes this studio a stand out is how serene the ambiance is especially in the early mornings. A relaxation for both body and mind.

Suria Jelatek is the closest high-rise condominium around. It is located right across the street from Picasso Residence

There isn’t any other development in construction around the proposed site. Nonetheless, there is a small fire station located next to the development. Meanwhile, Suria Jelatek and a low cost apartment, PPR Jelatek are located across the road from Picasso Residence.
