38 Bangsar, also known as Residensi 38 Bangsar, is a leasehold serviced residence in Bangsar. The site is previously a multi-storey carpark complex. The developer is targeting city dwellers who are seeking properties that are close to the Kuala Lumpur city centre.

They opine that there are many young income earners working in the city centre who are either staying with their parents outside the city centre or renting a house or room close to their workplace. Rent could be about RM1,000 to RM1,500 monthly. So, instead of renting, the developer thinks that it could be better for them to purchase a starter home in the city area that they could afford.

It is also just about 300m from the Bangsar LRT station. 38 Bangsar is also close to Gaya Bangsar, which was also developed by UDA Holdings. As for accessibility, 38 Bangsar is accessible via major roads and highways such as New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Federal Highway, and Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar (Mahameru Highway).

38 Bangsar could be good for those looking for properties close to Kuala Lumpur city centre. Apart from its proximity to the Jalan Telawi area, the development is close to the Bangsar LRT station. So this could appeal to those who work in the city centre.

This project is priced from about RM1,300 per sq ft, and some thinks that this is fair, given its location. Other developments near 38 Bangsar include The Establishment and Nadi Bangsar. A quick look at listings of those properties in PropertyGuru in November 2021 shows that the asking price per sq ft is RM895 to RM1,389 per sq ft for The Establishment, while Nadi Bangsar is from RM1,182.15 to RM1,597 per sq ft.

Although 38 Bangsar has the allure of a Bangsar address, some have argued that it doesn’t hold the same prestige as other high-rise developments at the other end of Jalan Maarof.

Here’s a look at residential properties in/near Bangsar.
