Trefoil SoFo (small office flexible office) is located in the Setia Alam township and it was launched by S P Setia Bhd in 2011. Trefoil is the name given to the clover shape of the project as seen from the top. “Tre” is Italian for three. The developer chose this name as it reflects the aerial pattern that the project’s three tower blocks make.

Trefoil provides a 24-hour tier-based security system which keeps a track on the daily traffic records of the units. Due to the dense population in the area, various multi-level car parking spaces are also provided. Facilities there include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool decks, a steam room, tennis court, jogging track, recreational decks, reflexology paths, a multi-purpose hall, BBQ area, and a business centre.

Other projects in Setia City include S P Setia’s own corporate building (connected to the mall via a bridge), Setia City Mall, Setia City Convention Centre, Audi Centre Setia Alam, and Top Glove Tower. The RM5 billion Setia City integrated green commercial hub will include 40 corporate towers and serviced apartments. Due to the frontage to Persiaran Setia Alam, it is good branding for corporations.

During the launch, there were about 1,000 buyers. In the end, 60% of the 1,020 units that were open for sale were sold via balloting. The developer offered a 20:80 developer interest-bearing scheme (DIBS). Most of the buyers over the launch weekend were investors, and are repeat buyers from Setia Alam and Setia Eco Park. There was also a large number of buyers who purchased units for their own use. As at March 2020, Trefoil is 70% occupied.

As at March 2020, S P Setia has about 100 acres of undeveloped land in Setia City. Setia Alam has a gross development value (GDV) of RM20 billion and the entire township is expected to be completed by 2027.
