For groceries and basic necessities, one can head over to Tesco Extra Penang which is about 8 minutes from Batu Uban. There are also many smaller supermarkets, mini markets and grocery stores that aim to cater to the community here. Other amenities that are in the vicinity include clinics, pharmacies, banks, ATMs, and places of worship. The Penang General Hospital is about a 17 minutes’ drive from Batu Uban.
