Dear Madam Siew,
KL Eco City based on location, integrated development and reputation of the developer seems like a good buy. However, you need to consider the following as well:-
1. Purchase price vs existing prices of
completed units in the vicinity. Most of the
time developers have added all the costs and
incentives given out to purchasers.
2. Your preferred targeted tenants depending on
the sizes and no. of bedrooms, if it is for
rental income. Be prepared with your budget
to allow a few months to a year of being
vacant due to various factors ie. noise of
neighbouring construction, low occupancy &
competition during handover, renovation etc.
3. There may be cheaper buys in the established
secondary market with renovations and
furnished as well as tenanted.
