Hi Mr. Gordan Tan. We have only one single fee structure provided by our Board of Valuers, Appraisers & Estate Agents Malaysia (www.lppeh.gov.my). Under the rules, agents are not allowed to charge an agency fee of more than 3% of the transacted price except for ,marketing of projects which are to be negotiated between agent and developer. It is common that agents charged 2% of the transacted price and 3% for lesser value properties plus 6% GST on the fee in the secondary market. The agents absorbed the advertising, promotion, marketing and miscellaneous costs. Having said that, owner and agent can still mutually agree on a fee on a win win basis so as not to demotivate the sales agent from achieving investing in the sale process. Do let me know if you need assistance in disposing your property in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor.Thank you
