Setia Alam

Setia Alam is a well-planned, award-winning integrated township located in Shah Alam Selangor. It is also self-contained and “green township” incorporating nature inspired elements throughout the township. Setia Alam township span a sprawling 4,000 acres of land. It is next to its older sibling Setia Ecopark, both of which are developed by SP Setia. Setia Alam neighbours several established townships such as Bandar Bukit Raja and Meru Town. Setia Alam is approximately 40 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur city centre while the Kuala Lumpur International (KLIA) is about an hour’s drive away.

Setia Alam offers direct access via the Setia Alam Expressway which is connected from the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE),Federal Highway coming from Kuala Lumpur city, Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Highway from Petaling Jaya, KESAS from neighbouring Subang Jaya, Guthrie Corridor Expressway and from Klang via Jalan Meru. Other alternatives include public transport such as buses and taxis. The nearest train station would be the Klang KTM station, however, you will need to transfer to take the bus or taxi to get to Setia Alam. 

Since Setia Alam is an integrated township, it features a comprehensive range of amenities and facilities within the township so the community will not have to travel far from their homes. Amongst these are schools, commercial area, eateries, convention centre, recreation activities, beautifully landscaped parks and many more. Setia Alam like its sibling Setia Ecopark is a great community to live, work and play without having to travel too far. Aside from that, it neighbours several established township, which offers even more amenities and facilities such as medical centres, shopping malls, entertainment, recreational activities, banking services and more.

There are several public and international schools within the township itself. Public schools available include SK Setia Alam,SJKT Ladang North Hummock, SRJK (C ) Pin Hwa 1 and SMK Setia Alam. International schools include Tenby International School, Peninsula International School Australia and Real Kids International School.

Within the integrated township are a few office towers such as Top Glove Tower which houses the headquarters of Top Glove, the world’s largest glove manufacturer. SP Setia’s HQ is also located here, along side others such as the Institute of Medical Research and National Institute of Health, Crowe Malaysia Klang Office, MBSA Setia Alam Branch Office and Gfg Group. Additionally, Setia Alam is close to several industrial areas such as Regions Light Industry,Bukit Raja Industrial Park,Bukit Raja Industrial Park South and Able-Link Industrial Park. Other nearby commercial hubs the township include The Forum, Sunsuria 7^th Avenue,Setia Taipan 1 & 2,  and Setia Avenue, all of which provides plenty of opportunities for business, investments and work.

The nearest private hospital within a short distance is Columbia Asia Klang. Other nearby hospitals are Hospital Shah Alam, MSU Medical Centre, KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital and AVISENA  Specialist Hospital, all of which are within vicinity of Setia Alam. Not to forget, there are also numerous clinics available within the township for minor ailment.

As mentioned, Setia Alam is a “green township”, therefore the township is surrounded by vast greenspaces, pockets of parks and water features. There are several recreational parks available for the community and these are Wetland Park,Urban Park,Setia City Park,Town Park and Western Park, which features many different activities to suit the community’s lifestyle needs. On top of that, residents get access to the Setia Alam Clubhouse.

Setia Alam Mall is the neighbourhood mall which houses a myriad of retail outlets, eateries, health and fitness centres, entertainment including a supermarket known as Urban Fresh and other services for the community’s convenience. Other nearby supermarkets market are Tesco Setia Alam and Jaya Grocer as well as 99 Speedmart Setia Alam and a host of mini-markets and convenience stores.

There is also the Setia Alam Convention Centre, a popular venue for events, conferences and exhibitions.
