Permai Gardens is an exclusive housing enclave located in the self-contained township of Permai Village, Tanjung Bungah, Georgetown, Penang. A private college, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, is also homed in Tanjung Bungah. Local entertainment which Taman Bungah is known for are water sports and live-music entertainment at local establishments. Other local conveniences include banks, a post office, temples, and a wet market. Permai Gardens is a luxury gated and guarded environment with two housing designs: Type B Villas and Type F Terrace Houses. Type B Villas have a land area ranging from 2,775 sq ft to 4,350 sq ft, and a build-up area of 4,330 sq ft to 5,430 sq ft. Type F Terrace houses have been endowed with a land area of 1,440 sq ft and a build-up area of 3,280 sq ft. Both these types of abodes are 3 storeys high. A total of 163 units make up this enclave. All homes come with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, as well as a spacious porch capable of fitting 2 cars.
