Taman Setapak

Taman Setapak, also known as Setapak Garden, is a residential area that is located in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. This matured residential area consist of bungalows, semi-detached houses as well as terraced houses. Taman Setapak is well connected, and there are plenty of amenities that cater to the community here.

In terms of commute and transportation, Taman Setapak is easily accessible and enjoys good connectivity via main roads and major highways such as Jalan Langkawi, Jalan Gombak, the DUKE Highway and Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2. There are also child care centers, tuition centers and other child development centers. 

Taman Setapak is home to many restaurants and eateries as well. These restaurants offer a wide variety of food choices at affordable prices and one is really spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. Some of the restaurants that are in the vicinity are Qasar Balqis Restaurant that serves middle Eastern cuisine, En Hui Vegetarian Restaurant which caters to those on a vegetarian diet, Yi Ji Seafood & Steamboat Restaurant, and Michi Restaurant which serves Chinese dishes. Food and beverage outlets can also be found at the shopping centers that are locate here such as Setapak Central Mall, and M3 Shopping Mall.  A short drive will bring you to Sunway Putra Mall and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. All these malls have plenty of retail outlets, some of which are of famous and popular international brands. For groceries and basic necessities, there are supermarkets, mini markets and grocery stores that aim to cater to the community here such as Supermarkets OTK @ Medan Idaman Gombak, Tayba Mart 3, and even Mydin Hypermarket Danau Kota and Econsave Setapak Central. There are numerous other amenities that are located at Taman Setapak such as clinics and pharmacies, hair salons, places of worship, banks and ATMs. If medical attention is ever needed, one can head over to the Columbia Asia Hospital which is only a 4 minutes’ drive from Taman Setapak.
