Platinum Splendor Residence is a condominium project of leasehold title located in the centre of the city. It is a project that is welcomed for being affordably priced, despite its central location. The only drawback would be its higher than the norm density of 2000 units, housed within 3 blocks of 32 storeys. The price is however considered to be well worth the density with a launch price of RM300,000.

Buyers will have 7 types of units to choose from, with Type A of RM300,000 and a built-up of 882 sq ft being the RUMAWIP unit. There will be a total of 600 of these units, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The units that are not under the RUMAWIP program have a launch price starting from RM555,500. These are the Type B units that have built-ups starting from 926 sq ft with also 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are however 2 option to Type B units, which Type B1 is bigger at 1,152 sq ft and comes with a higher price tag of RM623,000.

Platinum Splendour is a development that is touted for its location. It is located approximately only 4 kilometres away from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre in the Jalan Semarak locale, and about 6 kilometres away from Ampang. And this proximity comes without the city price tag. The other major suburbs such as Petaling Jaya and Mont Kiara are only 15 kilometres and 12 kilometres away respectively, while the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is only about 60 kilometres away.

Of the major highways that Platinum Splendour enjoys access to is the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway (DUKE 3) and the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) a few minutes from home. Then there are also the main trunk roads of Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra which is also known as Jalan Semarak, and Jalan Tun Razak.
