Good evening, my relative have some problems that what is the the normal procedure to get CF in order to stay in the new house?

Currently my relative's new house is built. The contractor said that need to get CF so that only can stay in the new house. But the contractor is delaying to get CF as my relative wait for long time.

What i heard that is need to get all department certified paper (eg. tnb, telekom or others) in order to get CF. Is this true?

Kindly please give us an advice. Thanks.

Normally an architect is hired to submit all the required Building Plans drawings to the local authorities for approval before construction. The contracator who is just a builder is hired through a tender exercise or recommendation by an architect. The architect will ensure that the building is built in compliance with the building plans and the requirements of the local council. The local council, fire department and utilities companies will inspect to certify whether the compliances are met before they write to the architect to issue a Certificate of Completion & Compliance known as CCC (previously known as CF) before it is deemed fit to live in.
