Endau is located in Johor but has the state of Pahang bordering its southern end. It is separated from the latter naturally by the river of Endau or Sungai Endau. It can be reached via the North South Expressway. Most people though, know its name through the park, the Endau – Rompin National Park. Not the area’s property completely, the Park shares its entrances with two other areas, one of which is Kuala Rompin in Pahang! The Park is also said to be home to the world’s oldest rainforest and is a certified national park, officially the nation’s second.

Inside the vicinity, one can view amazingly impressive natural wonders like volcanic rock that is said to be millions of years old and beautiful waterfalls. Other than its scenic and natural beauty, the town is in itself, rather modest. The park is its main attraction and makes up for the area’s not so dynamic economy.
