The many restaurants and eateries offer a variety of cuisines but the perhaps the most famous and sought after cuisines here are the seafood. Certain seafood eateries like Hai Ching Cafe and Jia Siang Cafe do not stock their own seafood and instead requires customers to purchase fresh seafood at the nearby fish market. Aside from seafood, Pulau Betong is also a favorite stop for durian lovers during the season. Folks can visit the local orchard and stalls such as Seng Durian stall and Ah Jiu Durian Orchard that offers different variety of durian during the peak of the season like the much sought after Musang King that is famous for its addictive bitter taste, the creamy D11 that has a subtle smell and the sweet milky Centipede Durian.
