Taman Mutiara Barat is part of Cheras, a famous township and district within Kuala Lumpur. The East – West Link Expressway, also known as the SALAK highway allows connection from Federal Highway in Seputeh to Taman Connaught in Cheras. Taman Mutiara MRT station is just right outside of Taman Mutiara Barat, which is situated on the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang line. This station runs along Jalan Cheras and serves Taman Segar on one side, and Taman Mutiara Barat on the other side.
