Taman Desa is like an extension of Bangsar. It is near to the city centre and key landmarks, so capital appreciation will always be there. While the roads in the older part of Taman Desa (Old Klang Road) has been upgraded from 2 or 4 lanes to now, 8 lanes, there is still the congestion that comes with a popular and established area. With more projects to be completed in the coming years, there could be more strain on the roads and facilities.
As a side note, Protect Taman Desa, a coalition protesting overdevelopment in the suburban neighbourhood, previously raised concerns over Armada Villa, which advertised a “public park” adjacent to the development. That “park” is now home to SkyVogue Residence.
