Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a leasehold shopping centre located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at the famous shopping enclave of Bukit Bintang at Jalan Bukit Bintang 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. Opened to the public since 2007, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is an upmarket mall stocking global brands. Known as the jewel of Bukit Bintang, it is an award winning, premier shopping destination housing eight precincts to fulfil all your personalised indulgences. Developed by Urusharta Cemerlang Sdn Bhd, the mall saw a retail expansion built adjacent to the mall in November 2016 known as the Pavilion Elite. Pavilion Kuala Lumpur was built on the former site of the Bukit Bintang Girls’ School and consists of not only a premier shopping centre but also two blocks of serviced apartments, an office block and a 5-star hotel. For in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur that enjoy traversing the city via public transportation, the newly constructed underground SBK18 Bukit Bintang MRT station of the Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line is just 240 meters away (a 3-minute walk). It is the city’s newly developed well-thought of, state-of-the-art integrated mode of transport designed to provide commuters a comfortable, fun and unforgettable journey that’s highly functional and safe. Each station on the 51-kilometer long line system is located near hospitals, universities, parks, malls and work institutions; which makes it a recommended means of transportation to battle Kuala Lumpur’s famed rush hour traffic. Stations like Muzium Negara, Pasar Seni, Maluri and Kajang have integrated systems that connect them to other railway systems and allow them to transfer easily from one service rail system to another. Another alternative would be the Bukit Bintang Monorail station right next to the entrance of the Bukit Bintang MRT Station or the Raja Chulan Monorail station from the north of the mall. The monorail station would take guests effortlessly to the other parts of Kuala Lumpur. The shopping centre is as well linked to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Suria KLCC (and hence its LRT Station) via an elevated pedestrian walkway that is air-conditioned and about a kilometer long (i.e. a 15 to 20 minute walk). And, as for those who prefer to commute with their own vehicle, they can access Pavilion Kuala Lumpur via Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Sultan Ismail or Jalan Tun Razak. The SMART expressway is as well an alternative as it leads to the routes mentioned. The Bukit Bintang shopping enclave is abundantly rich in amenities where guests can literary get everything they need from a supermarket, to retail outlets, banks, eateries, offices and more if not in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur itself. Sited on 1.37 million sqft land, this 7-storey retail haven has over 550 outlets offering the finest selections of shopping, dining and urban leisure. With the newly developed Pavilion Elite adjacent to the mall to accommodate its retail expansion, the already existing centre comes with eight precincts known as the Couture Pavilion, Centre Court, Gourmet Emporium, Fashion Avenue, Dining Loft, Connection, Beauty Hall and Tokyo Street. The Couture Pavilion suitable for high-end browsing where upmarket, international fashion outposts (a majority of them occupying double-storey street front lots) like Gucci, Michael Kors and Marc by Marc Jacobs are at. Meanwhile, at the Fashion Avenue there are lower-priced, mid-market international and local brands like Forever 21, Pull & Bear, Mango and more. The Centre Court is the place where large-scale events ad promotions happen like the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week. The Gourmet Emporium is a food haven at the lower ground floor that also hosts one of the mall’s anchor tenant, Mercato supermarket. The Dining Loft at Level 7 features some of the first-in Malaysia and casual dining restaurants. The Connection is the trendy hub with al-fresco ambience with a wide array of restaurants as well as Golden Screen Cinemas and Red Box Plus housing the precinct together. The Beauty Hall spanning a total of 20,400 sqft provides an oasis of rest and relaxation for shoppers with a multitude of spas and salons. Lastly, the Tokyo Street is Japanese-themed precinct that houses Daiso and some of the established Japanese restaurants. Its main anchor tenants are Parkson Elite, PADINI Concept Store, Mercato Supermarket, Food Republic, Golden Screen Cinemas and Harvey Norman. The mall also offers ample of parking spaces, including handicapped and motorcycle bays available on Levels 1, 1M, 2, 2M, B1 (Zone B), B1 (Zone C), B2 (Zone C) and B3 (Zone C). Access to the car parks are from Gate A (from Jalan Raja Chulan, next to Pavilion Tower), Gate B (from Jalan Raja Chulan, next to Porte Cochere Entrance) or Gate D (from Jalan Bukit Bintang, next to Mont Blanc boutique). Unfortunately, there are limited information available in regards to the initial launch of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall as this commercial property has been around since the year 2007. Should you find Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur an area of interest to you for an investment or to live in, the following residential properties are worth taking a look at; Axon Bukit Bintang, Aria Luxury Residence, KLCC, St Mary Residences, Banyan Tree @ Pavilion, Stonor 3 @ KLCC and Marc Residence. Located right in the heart of the city, Bukit Bintang offers a great mix properties, though mostly catering to the upper class society considering its prime location. As for commercial properties, interested parties may consider the following developments nearby like Fahrenheit88, Starhill Gallery, Lot 10, Sungei Wang Plaza and Low Yat Plaza.
