Siliau is a small town that is located in the district of Seremban in the state of Negeri Sembilan. It is located about 8 kilometres away from Rantau and it is surrounded by a large area of old palm tree plantation.
There is a lack of public transportations in the town of Siliau, making it more accessible for vehicle owners than for those who utilizes public transport. Siliau is accessible via the Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH).
There are a few supermarkets in the small town of Siliau which serve as a convenience for the locals to get their basic daily necessities and those supermarkets include Pasar Mini Sugu, Pasar H and C Highlands Fresh as well as KBD Springhill Enterprise. There is a 7-Eleven in Springhill that serves as a convenience store.
There are several eateries in Siliau and those eateries include Sun Fatt Restoran, Cendol Pak Ujang and Letchu Nantha Curry House. Sun Fatt Restoran serves Chinese cuisine. Cendol Pak Ujang sell delicious cendol for those who are looking for some iced dessert to cool down. Last but not least, Letchu Nantha Curry House serves delicious curry for those who enjoys eating spicy. Because of the lack of amenities, residents of Siliau will have to drive to other townships like the more developed Bandar Sri Sendayan in order to gain access to a wider range of amenities.
The small town of Siliau however is suitable for growing families that enjoy living the quiet life because there are quite the number of schools in Siliau. Primary schools in the area include Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Siliau, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Siliau, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Bradwall, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Sendayan and many more. Apart from these, there is also an international school which is the UCSI International School Springhill.
