Gurun is a township located in Kuala Muda district in the state of Kedah.
Gurun can be reached via the North-South Expressway as well as by rail, express buses, or taxis. Gurun has its own railway station a stone’s throw away from the town centre and its served by KTM and the Electric Train Service allowing faster travelling time to Gurun from Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, you can get around Gurun town by car, the local bus lines or taxis.
