Puchong South is a new residential township in the southern part of Puchong Selangor. Puchong South is located nearer to Cyberjaya and Seri Kembangan. It is about 25 minutes from KLIA, 30 minutes from KL city centre and 20 minutes from Petaling Jaya whilst Cyberjaya and Putrajaya is a mere 20 minutes away.
Puchong South is dotted with residential projects including 16 Sierra, a residential estate developed by IOI Properties.
Puchong South is well-connected by a network of highways such as the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) and Maju Expressway (MEX) leading onwards to neighbouring Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Serdang and beyond. KLIA is also distance away. Other mode of public transportation available is local buses and taxis.
As Puchong South is still developing there are not much there at the moment in terms of amenities but will definitely be incorporate upon completion as Puchong South is surrounded by many residences. However, there are amenities like schools, shops, eateries etc in neighbourhood enclaves.
The nearest schools from Puchong South are Rafflesia International & Private School, Taylors International School Puchong, SMK Puchong, SMK Puchong Utama 1 and REAL Kids Puchong South. Due to its locale, it is also within distance to several reputed tertiary institutions such as Lim Kok Wing University and Multimedia University (MMU) @Cyberjaya, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
The nearest hospital is Hospital Serdang. Within Puchong there is Columbia Asia Puchong and KPMC Puchong Medical Centre along side several clinics both community and private once to serve the medical needs of the community.
For daily essentials, there are Tesco Extra Bukit Puchong, Pasar Borong Selangor, Giant Hypermarket and Pasaraya CTM Batu 14 Puchong and not to mention, these are complimented by numerous mini-markets and conveniences stores.
The IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, a short drive away, has a great selection of retail stores, eateries, entertainment amenities and services catering to the area’s young and middle income professionals from around the area. Other malls to visit for shppping include AEON Mall Taman Equine, IOI Mall Puchong and Setiawalk Mall.
Puchong South is also dotted with eateries so much that one will be spoilt for choice. Amongst the eateries are Kampung Restaurant, KP Tong Hong Restaurant, Restoran Puchong Utama, Puchong Yong Tau Fu and Caffeinees Puchong.
As for recreation, there are pockets of parks located within each residential estates. Having said that, Puchong South is also surrounded by several recreational hotspot such as Farm in the City in nearby Seri Kembangan, a outdoor petting zoo for kids; Central Park 16 Sierra;Amigo Clubhouse a residents clubhouse for residents of 16 Sierra; MAEPS Lake and Bukit Jalil Recreational Park.
Properties available around the area include Akira@16 Sierra, Tasik Residency, 16Sierrra Sfera Residency and The Wharf Residence. There are also some upcoming projects around the area such as The Pulse Residence and E’Island Lake Haven@Puchong, to consider for investment and own-stay.
