Bandar Perda is located in Seberang Perai, Penang. It is a planned residential and lifestyle oriented estate, so much so that “Perda” actually stands for Penang Regional Development Authority. A very ambitious project, a tiny bit of it has yet to be completed. Although that is so, many of it main components and attractions have already been built. For instance, its Aoen Seberang Prai City mall and Aseania Mall. In just these two malls alone, residents get fine dining options, a variety of stores to shop in and urban staples like the store Jusco. Other amenities include the KPH Hospital and the Bandar Perda Mosque nearby.
The area’s location is also impeccable, being just a half hour drive away from Penang International Airport and Penang Bridge Interchange along with it being situated between the bustling towns of Butterworth and Bukit Mertajam. The area is also designed to be “pedestrian friendly” as this tie in with their “Garden City” concept. So residents can enjoy strolls or choose walking as an option for getting around. Another way to do so is by its very own future monorail. Currently though, the area provides Rapid Penang Service.
