Desa Kundang is a small leasehold residential neighbourhood located in Kundang, near Rawang, Selangor. Desa Kundang neighbours Taman Volex and is in close distance to Sg Buloh neighbourhood. In addition, the Kawasan Perindustrian Kundang isn’t too far away. However, Desa Kundang is quite far from town centre and there is no basic amenities and facilities, so residents will need to drive to the next time to get their stuff.

Desa Kundang can be reached via major expressways such as Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan and Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Selangor. Desa Kundang can also be reached by taxis, buses from neighbouring towns and KTM train stopping at Rawang station and then you have to hail a taxi to your destination. Alternatively, you can align at the Sg Buloh station and then take a 15 minutes taxi ride to Desa Kundang.

As mentioned, there are no basic amenities in Desa Kundang itself, the residents, however, will have to drive to the nearest neighbourhood for their needs such as banks, supermarkets, shops, eateries and more.

There are several schools within a 10km radius such as Sekolah Kebangsaan Kundang, SMK Bukit Rahman Putra, SMK Seri Kundang, SJKC Kundang and Sekolah Rendah Agama An-Nur. In addition, there are several international schools within close distance such as Straits International School Rawang, Templar Park International School and IGB International School (Igbis) over at Sungai Buloh. There is a government run Klinik Desa in Kundang where residents from the area can go for minor medical treatment, while the nearest hospitals are Sg Buloh Hospital and KPJ Rawang Specialist Hospital.

For daily essentials, residents can head to Pasar Mini Kundang Jaya, Kedai Runcit Chop Ng Foh, Pasar Mini Geunaseh, Pasaraya Tasik, and Ravindra Kumar Enterprise. Bigger names such as Mydin, Tesco, Nsk, Giant And Aeon are available in nearby Rawang town. The nearest shopping mall is AEON Mall Rawang, where residents can get access to host of retail brands, eateries, entertainment and services. Other shopping malls within close distance are KIPMall Desa Coalfields and The Store Sungai Buloh.
