Duta Tropika has 138 courtyard villas and garden villas. These comprise 3-storey terrace link houses and 3.5-storey semi-detached houses, with built-up sizes ranging from 3,818 sq ft to 6,850 sq ft.
Duta Tropika is located on a long and narrow strip of land. Thus, the architect orchestrated for the courtyard villas to be in the centre of the development, sandwiched by garden villas on both sides.
Each garden villa features a balcony with white glazing on the top floor which reflects the house light when switched on. An entire floor of each of them is a Master Suite.
There aren’t many facilities at Duta Tropika, but it’s adequate. Facilities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gymnasium, function hall, community centre, children’s playground, open field, and visitor parking.

Analysis
There’s no denying that Solaris Dutamas added value to Duta Tropika as the shopping centre is just a few steps away. However, residents were also wary of possible issues such as noise at night and double parking on the road sides.
Although largely residential, Sri Hartamas is host to a vibrant community. The malls and wide range of trendy restaurants appeal to the higher-income residents there. There have been plenty of new developments in the Sri Hartamas / Mont Kiara area, especially high-rise condominiums. There is a huge potential in Dutamas area, as integrated developments like KL Metropolis by Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd are being developed.
