Agile Mont’ Kiara is a high-end residential project by one of the leading property developers in China called Agile Property Holdings.

Agile Mont’Kiara is a 70:30 joint-venture project between Agile Real Estate Development Sdn Bhd and PJ Development Holdings Bhd, a listed company on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia (Malaysian Stock Exchange).

Agile Property Holdings Ltd is the holding company of Agile Real Estate Development Sdn Bhd, and through this company, the Chinese developer bought the 10-acre land from PJ Development Holdings Bhd (PJD) in early 2014 for about RM200 million. Agile Property Holdings has been listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2005.

Agile Mont’Kiara is the first international project by Agile Property Holdings, and the development has a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.4 billion.

It was launched in January 2016, and was scheduled to be completed in 2019. However, the nationwide MCO had halted most construction activities, leading to the delay of completion of projects such as Agile Mont’ Kiara (813 units), Arte Mont’ Kiara (1,707 units), and TWY Mont’ Kiara (484 units), to the second half 2020.

Agile Mont’ Kiara, a freehold condominium project located off Jalan Duta Kiara on some 10-acre site that offers 813 units spread over 11 blocks of low, medium and high rise buildings.

It has a gross development value of RM1.4 billion. It will consist of 11 towers with facilities such as sky deck, jogging track and 24-hour security surveillance.

Agile Mont Kiara is designed by renowned Singaporean architectural firm, DPA. A key feature of the development is the 7 acres of green and open spaces.

In terms of material, the developer included approved fire-rated timber panels for the doors leading to the main entrance door, and quality timber doors for the bedroom, bathroom, and study. Aluminium framed sliding glass doors are installed for the balconies, and terrace areas.

The Agile Group ventured into Malaysia in 2014, they introduced Agile Mont’Kiara in 2016. They have also been on the lookout for big parcels of land in greater Kuala Lumpur to develop townships.


Apart from Agile’s joint venture with PJD, they are co-developing a 3.76-acre land in Bukit Bintang with Tropicana Corporation Berhad, from whom it bought the land.
