Glomac Bhd unveiled the first phase of Primrose project in its 231-acre Saujana KLIA township, Sepang, in March 2021. With an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM72 million, the first phase of Primrose comprises 123 units of affordable double-storey terraced houses. The development aims to fulfil the needs of first-time homebuyers, young professionals and investors, who are looking for residential properties away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Saujana KLIA has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM1.3 billion. As at March 2021, Glomac has developed 7 residential home phases, comprising 905 units of double-storey terrace houses and a neighbourhood commercial hub of 72 units of shop offices with an estimated GDV of RM560 million.

Saujana KLIA was first developed in 2015, and it is planned as a suburban mixed residential development with various types of affordable landed properties such as 20’x70’ and 20’x75’ double storey terrace houses, bungalows, shop offices, apartments, and 24’x60’ and 22’x70’ townhouses (under Rumah Selangorku).

Primrose homes are designed to cater for multi-generational living, where the spacious units will caters to different needs, such as work from home. The developer is emphasising on the lifestyle it offers, away from the city. They are also well aware that consumers look forward to affordable residential developments. Thus, the Primrose is marketed as the perfect start-up home for a modern family, or as an investment property, as the prices offered are affordable. The affordable homes are priced from RM498,800 for an intermediate unit.

The land area measures 20ft by 60ft, and the built-ups range from 1,560 sq ft to 2,288 sq ft. The development offers 4-bedroom 3-bathroom and is targeted for completion in 2023. The township’s residents will also enjoy the clubhouse facilities which are currently in the design planning stage and are expected to be completed within a year or two.

Complete phases of Saujana KLIA thus far include Alcea, Camellia, Thistle, Heather, Azalea, and several others. Future developments in the township could include strata apartments, detached homes, townhouses, shop offices, and a commercial centre. Alcea and Camellia were both launched in May 2016 and sold out within weeks of launch. Primrose is the last two terrace-house projects offered under the township.

Saujana KLIA can be accessed via major highways including Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), Maju Expressway (MEX), North–South Expressway Central Link (Elite Expressway), KLIA Expressway, and North-South Expressway (NSE). Projections for Primrose look promising as the developer received around 100 registrations prior to the launch date. They believe that this is attributed to Glomac’s consistency in providing affordable homes. Moving forward, Glomac also plans to launch the second phase of Primrose in the second half of 2021.
