Sunway Geo is an integrated development in Sunway South Quay, a 178-acre neighbourhood comprising residential and commercial components. Sunway GEOLake Residences is the final installment for this mixed development.


It is a low-density residential development in the RM2 billion gross development value (GDV) Sunway GEO series. The Sunway GEO series in Sunway City, Subang Jaya, is arguably one of the most integrated and liveable township in the Klang Valley. Sunway GEOLake Residences has a GDV of about RM650 million, and it was launched in 2018 by Sunway Bhd. It received an overwhelming response during its exclusive preview, as it saw 60% bookings, with 90% of registrants signing the sales and purchase agreement (SPA) on the same day of the preview.

Sunway GEOLake Residences has a large landscaped park visible at its entrance, and accessible at ground level instead of the usual car park podium. Sunway GEOLake Residences comprises 420 condominium units and 44 townhouses with dual front facades, minus the conventional back lane. Meanwhile, the 44-storey condominium will be the tallest residential tower in Sunway South Quay. It has a linear groove theme to match the rock surface of the Sunway South Quay Lake. The low-density condominium spreads across 6.49 acres, with only 70 units per acre.


It has built-ups of 883 sq ft to 1,776 sq ft with an average selling price of RM900 per sq ft, while the townhouses have built-ups from 2,799 sq ft (3+1 bedroom) to 3,035 sq ft (4+1 bedroom units on the upper floor). These are priced from RM2 million.

To promote community participation in health and wellness activities, there are several green pockets and facilities at Sunway GEOLake Residences. The wellness facilities include a rock Jacuzzi, pools for relaxation, infinity lap pool overlooking the Sunway South Quay Lake, “Dragon Walk” playground, a barbeque area, and a yoga deck on the rooftop.

There are also water features, a maze running garden, and an urban farming garden for residents. The developer also looked into infusing green features such as:

  • Charging bays for electric vehicles at the car park
  • Generating electricity via solar panels to reduce the usage of carbon-based power
  • LED lights at common areas, with photo-cell sensors to control lighting in the corridors
  • Building the towers to face east or west to minimise the number of units that face the sun, thus reducing the heat from the sun and the usage of air conditioning.
  • Including air-conditioners that use low-environmental-impact refrigerants in all units
  • Rainwater harvesting system for irrigation of the landscape

To better manage the building and for the convenience of its residents, Sunway introduced the Sunway Community Application with these features – community announcements, a Visitor Management System, community support, a mobile video intercom, a community news bulletin, and calendar. Residents are also able to exchange calls and messages for free, share community events, and make bookings for the facilities.

When it comes to safety, Sunway City is constantly on 24-hour CCTV surveillance, supported by more than 800 security personnel including 350 auxiliary police. Sunway GEOLake Residences itself will have a 4-tier security system.
