USJ, or UEP Subang as it is officially known, is an affluent township located in Selangor. The area was developed as a continuation of the completed Subang Jaya township, creating a fresh new residential opportunity in this popular area.
The first wave of USJ property was completed in 1990, and since then the township has expanded to 27 individual neighbourhood sections within the wider scope of the UEP Subang suburb. The major commercial areas can be found at USJ 10, otherwise known as USJ Taipan, and USJ 9 Subang Business Centre, while USJ 1 represents the primary retail hub. Connectivity is a serious plus point of the USJ neighbourhood. While some modern developed townships lack public transport links, USJ boasts a number of connections to key routes throughout the Klang Valley. USJ 7 LRT, Taipan LRT Station, Wawasan LRT Station, and USJ 21 LRT station provide multiple access points to the Kelana-Jaya LRT Line, with connections to KL Sentral and onward national rail services. USJ is also served by a number of Rapid KL bus services, as well as enjoying access to the unique Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) Sunway Line, with connections to Bandar Sunway. USJ is well positioned for access to several major highway routes that run through the Klang Valley. The Federal Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), and New Pantai Expressway (NPE) are all easily reached from the neighbourhood. Journey times from USJ to downtown KLCC can be as short as 15 minutes in good traffic.
