USJ, or UEP Subang as it is officially known, is an affluent township located in Selangor. The area was developed as a continuation of the completed Subang Jaya township, creating a fresh new residential opportunity in this popular area.
The first wave of USJ property was completed in 1990, and since then the township has expanded to 27 individual neighbourhood sections within the wider scope of the UEP Subang suburb. The major commercial areas can be found at USJ 10, otherwise known as USJ Taipan, and USJ 9 Subang Business Centre, while USJ 1 represents the primary retail hub. Industrial areas are found in USJ 1 through to USJ 8, as well as USJ 19, with residential areas making up much of the remaining property in USJ.
The neighbourhood presents a diverse real estate offering, with USJ condo developments like USJ One offering high-rise and terrace housing living, while exclusive low-density developments such as USJ Heights provide the opportunity for luxury bungalows in a gated and guarded community setting.
As with similar township developments, USJ offers a vision of integrated and self-contained neighbourhood living. The area boasts a number of malls and other expected amenities, providing a suburban environment that’s designed to meet the needs of its modern urban citizenship. The USJ Summit Hotel adds another element to this offering, boasting an integrated hotel, retail, and dining space.
