Hello. I intend to sell off my house (current market price is around RM500k) - and still servicing the bank loan (less than RM40K). My question is, do I need to settle the remaining of the loan before selling it off? How does it work? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, you do not need to settle the balance remaining loan in order to sell your house. Once you have secured a buyer for your house, the buyer's borrowing bank will settle and redeem your bank outstanding loan within 3+1 months from signing the Sale & Purchase Agreement.
