Hello PropertyGuru,
I had an issue with a rental broker which I'd like to know how to give him a subpar review which can act as a warning to other property seekers.
This broker I found from PropertyGuru introduced me to my current rental property (condominium) from his other listings (seems like a bait and switch tactic), however his after sales service was terrible at best, there are a few things in the property that is not in proper working conditions, a few failed light bulbs, electric hob/stove not working, electric door without password to use or reset, advertised with pans, pots and a few appliances but are missing.
The broker doesn't allow contact between tenant and landlord either, so nobody knows if complaints actually reach the landlord.
The worst thing is the condo was advertised to be secured but my car parts were stolen within the building premise and I found the CCTV does not even cover 60% of the car park.
I am disatisfied with the property especially with the lack of security causing property loss and anxiety, how do I approach this issue to conditionally terminate the contract early (refund deposit) to move out to a safer and better place?
