thinking of selling a freehold condo bought in 1999, I am a Malaysian but
working oversea and am considered to be a Malaysian Non Resident
am I subjected to pay RPGT?
this will be my only disposal to be sold in my lifetime, if I were to rent out
what would be the tax rate on my rental income and how do I submit and declare to the Tax dept, appreciate your advice

Hi. You will get RPGT exemption because (1) You are Malaysian (2) Selling a property that you keep for more than 5 years. For your information, Malaysians are charged with RPGT if they sell their properties in the first five years after SPA signing. Besides, you will sign RPGT form (for exemption) during SPA signing.
